The Tangram

In this assignment, we were given a tangram, in a 20x20 dimension. We had to use the shapes of the tangram, no more than three times each. The tangram consisted of three triangles, one square and one parallelogram. Because these shapes were already related to one another, I feel like this assignment was a lot easier than my previous ones.

However at first I thought this task was not related to the others, so I did not put much thought into the rules we should have followed, and I think this shows in my composition.

To begin with, I chose to use the "default" dimension of the tangram, but one 10x0 dimension as well. I tried to put the shapes in a way that could make it easier to envision other bigger shapes, but some vertical and horizontal lines as well. In the left and right part of the composition they are especially noticeable.

Overall, I feel like I should have made better use of the white background, and also aligned the shapes better. In that way the composition would have been much more unified.
