After using our units to create patterns, we had to use them once again, but this time to create a bounded area design, a unified composition. We were free to change the size of our units and the color scheme.

To begin with, I chose two sizes of the unit, and I also modified the colors, creating "two" units. I feel like this task was very challenging, It was hard to come up with a good relation between the units themselves, and even harder to find an overall theme for the composition.

So at least, I tried to create a few part to part relations, even though I am aware the composition lacks an exact order. The most interesting relation I thought would be combining the quarter circles of the units. In a few cases they are put together, using juxtaposition, to create a semi-circle and in other cases they are aligned, to create a snake-like curved line. Another relation is between the squares. I have put the black and white squares together, so that the contrast between them can make this relation a bit more exiting.

To sum up, I am not satisfied with my composition. I think the relations are not entirely bad, but I will have to try harder to link them better with the whole composition.
