Planes

In the studio we had to create a composition, using three planes, specifically three golden rectangles. I came up with two study models.


This was my first model example. Because the golden ratio was a key requirement of this task, I thought of making it a key unit in my referential system. Below is the referential system, based on the golden ratio.



Here every rectangle intersects the others at lines that match the golden ratio.

My second example is this one.


In this model the grid is based in the golden ratio once again, but with a few variations. Below is the grid.


As seen in the photo, the referential system is divided into rectangles that match the golden ratio. The two red lines mark the position of the two rectangles seen in the 3D view.
